2009 NJ Horse Expo

The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce presented the 4^th NJ Horse Expo at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Ringoes on May 2-3.  RTA member Susan Auer presented the Parade of Breeds at noon each day.  Approximately 20 breeds were represented from Welsh Ponies to Icelandics to Tennessee Walking Horses. 

Susan Auer’s Freckles Blue Gold, aka “Horse” was requested to participated in the confirmation clinic presented by Dr. Emily Lamprecht, Rutgers University, (due to his almost perfect confirmation!).   RTA Members Anne Owen and Carrie Croton presented a breed demonstration on the Icelanidc horse.  Sue and Al Villani presetned a driving demo, and Lisa Hall hosted a breed demo on the Rocky Mountain horse.  All of the members above also participated in the Parade Of Breeds.

The RTA booth joined other breed organizations, trail associations and various exhibitors to promote our club and advertise coming events.
