2007 Open Gymkhana at the Round Valley Youth Center

The 2007 Gymkhana was held at the Round Valley Youth Center. Thanks to Paul Sauerland and the Trustees for the use of their fantastic facility and for all the prep work they did to get the place in tip top condition!

We had a great day- classes included cloverleaf barrels, bleeding heart, flag race, pole bending, barrel dash, egg and spoon, ride a buck, chug-a-lug, keyhole, command class and bowtie. Wow did we have some hot competition! Lots of speed and fire and some plain good riding!

Thanks to all of our volunteers including Al our comedic announcer, Sue and Nicole our timers, Hanns our gatekeeper, Carolyn our power shopper and ring crew, and all our other volunteers who helped plan, set up, clean up and attend to all the other details- Stephie, Pat, Ann, Sue & Al.

Thanks also to our generous sponsors who provideed prizes for each class winner as well as champion and reserve prizes: Horseman's Outlet, Seargentsville Feed and Grain & Agway of Flemington.

Our high point champion of the day was Nicole riding Porche and the reserve champion was Amy riding Glory. Congratulations to all of our winners and participants!
